Helping strength athletes of all levels make continuous progress
Not by striving for perfection
Not by merely treating symptoms
But by gaining insight into your body and its needsOnline Personal Training
A deeper understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and injury management: Two key pillars that enable you to make progress while remaining pain-free for as long as possible. Consideration of your movement patterns, available equipment, experience level, age, and other relevant factors. Aiming for an optimal training stimulus rather than trying to peak every week. Developing a deep understanding of why your body adopts specific strategies. No standard 12-week programs, but weekly feedback and program updates via TrueCoach, because effective training takes time. Goal-oriented, no-nonsense. Not every injury requires complete rest; sometimes, only adjustments to technique and exercises are needed. Avoid unnecessarily sparing the injured area; continue training as specifically as possible within safe limits. Science-backed sessions designed to get you back to training as quickly and safely as possible. Guided return to sports following surgery. I do not work under contracts with health insurance providers, as I believe high-quality care can be delivered differently. Please contact your health insurer regarding potential reimbursement. What is Initiate Yourself?
Helping (strength) athletes better understand how and why their progress has stalled and what their bodies need to move forward—that is my philosophy.
Working with people who take strength training seriously—whether in calisthenics, streetlifting, powerlifting, or other strength sports.
I do not believe in perfect technique.
I do not believe that every injury requires complete rest.
I believe the body adapts to the demands placed upon it.
My job is to figure out why your body has adopted a particular strategy and to refine one that aligns with your goals.
I enjoy working with people who:
Find enjoyment in strength training
Want to understand why things work
Are willing to take a long-term view
Prioritize quality over quick fixes
